2015 / digital photographs, photographs, scanographs, intimates

6 pieces / 24”x 36” each

Through the use of my own childhood narrative juxtaposed with digital scanographs and imagery of my own femininity, sexuality, and intimate life, Fishnets, Lace and Family Photos explores the correlation between Western society’s hypersexualization of women and children practiced alongside aggressive sexual prudence.

Bestowed Upon Me

2016 / digital photographs, clothing of lovers past

18 pieces

In each self-portrait I am wearing an article of clothing that was left behind and/or given to me by a person with whom I was in a relationship. This work serves as a purge as well as a visual archive of relationships, and is an exploration of the meaning and narratives that humans place upon objects, and why we keep and preserve them, or choose not to.
